A Radical Idea

Dear God: The law of heaven calls for a radical way of living that turns human logic on its head....

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a biblically-based recovery program that provides a safe place to heal within a Christ-centered community. The program was first developed by John Baker, a recovering alcoholic who was attending a secular AA group but longed to be a part of a Christ-centered recovery program. He shared his vision with his own pastor more than 20 years ago and Celebrate Recovery was born. The program has been adopted by thousands of churches worldwide and thousands of individuals and whole families have been delivered from hurts, hang-ups and habits as they claim Jesus Christ as their Higher Power.
Celebrate Recovery seeks to offer people freedom from a wide range of issues: broken relationships, co-dependency, food issues, anger and depression, divorce, substance abuse, sexual brokenness, etc. But unlike secular 12-step “Anon” groups, Celebrate Recovery believes true healing comes from the One & only Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

From the Message Bible by Eugene Peterson, Matthew 11: 28–30:

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you, Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

Celebrate Recovery meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:45 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

Men's Step Study (a more detailed study of CR lessons) is now in progress and meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM in the Music Room (effective Jan. 8, 2017).
